about

artmonte-carlo is an art fair whose intention is to establish on the French Riviera a leading artistic platform for contemporary art, modern art and contemporary design, in order to meet the requirements of the many collectors and art lovers of the region.

The interest shown by collectors and gallery owners who have experienced artgenève and the close links between Geneva and Monaco motivated Palexpo SA to create a second exhibition.

artmonte-carlo will be held for the fifth time from 1 to 3 May 2020 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.

In the spirit of artgenève, artmonte-carlo is distinguished by a narrow, select selection of leading international galleries, unveiled in a very carefully designed scenography and largely enriched by a programme of curated exhibitions encouraging dialogue between the world of the market and the institutional world.

The two shows, one inaugurating the annual European calendar of contemporary art fairs at the height of the Geneva winter season and the other starting the beautiful Monegasque season, bring together two important European axes, rich in art spaces and places of residence for numerous art lovers and collectors.
We hope that they will mutually enrich each other and allow the idea of the art fair to spread internationally, as 'pop up art fairs' of controlled dimensions, which stand out from the formats and concepts of the large traditional art fairs.

Taking place in refined and human-sized settings, artgenève and artmonte-carlo are in the image of their venues: pleasant and with an international influence.
